Qua

Qua is Melbourne based Cornel Wilczek who started the project in 2001. It started with an invite to play with Pretty Boy Crossover in Melbourne, Australia. From the pressure of sorting out a live set .. and finishing songs, something became apparent - the songs actually worked. Over the next year of live performances the album "Forgetabout" was formed and eventually released in August 2002. The next 2 years saw Qua becoming a regular in the Australian live scene.

1. Dov is the person behind many of the past decades most dynamic underground labels incuding his own imprint: Muti Music, which has itself help define a whole new sound of the west coast.
Dov's music / DJ sets, ranges from urban bass driven breakbeats, mid-tempo, chill or crunky dancefloor bits to chunky four to the floor tracks that often still manage to sound a little broken with a somewhat 'garage' feel to them.

Thievery Corporation

Thievery Corporation is a Washington, D.C.-based recording artist and DJ duo consisting of Rob Garza and Eric Hilton and their supporting artists. Their music style mixes elements of dub, acid jazz, indian classical and brazilian (such as bossa nova) with a lounge aesthetic. Thievery Corporation is on the Eighteenth Street Lounge record label named after the DC club owned by Eric Hilton, but several of their singles and EP's appear on the 4AD and !K7 labels.

Phil Mison

Phil Mison or perhaps better known by his recording name, Cantoma, is one of the UK’s premier Chill out DJ’s. One of the leaders of this small but eclectic group of DJ’s he got his first break warming up for Darren Emmerson in 1991. His next big opportunity came a couple of years later when Jose Padilla, DJ and owner of the legendary Cafe Del Mar in Ibiza heard Phil play and invited him to go and be resident at the world’s most famous sunset bar.

"the fingers malone ensemble" is the production and stage name of Colin O'Reilly, a musician, composer and producer from Fingal Head, Australia. He is now based in London. He is best known for his production and drumming for 'The Winnie Coopers' (Australian hip hop band) and, more recently, his drumming and MPC playing for Ash Grunwald (Australian blues artist). His solo work is varied and ranges from live jazz arangements to fully programmed hip hop style beats. Although much of the work sounds like samples almost no samples are used.

Jasmina Maschina

Jasmina Machina currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany, is one half of the experimental electronic duo Minit and composes sound for installation and film. She composed, recorded and produced her first solo album, "The Demolition Series", at home. Guest musicians appear on the album; Torben Tilly (guitar), Jimmy Trash (melodica), Ari Benjamin Meyers (piano), Anthony Pieretti (drums) and Lucinda Dayhew (voice).

Waverider

There are 2 bands under the name WaveRider currently active. 1)WaveRider is François Giroux from Montreal and he started releasing his music under this name on the net in 2004. Drawing from diiverse influences, but mainly from dub and electro, WaveRider's music is a blend of electronic grooves and experimental techno. WaveRider has received some radio airplay in Canada on electronic music shows, and has a following on the internet since he started.

Chet Faker

Chet Faker (born Nicholas James Murphy; 23 June 1988) is an electronica musician hailing from Melbourne, Australia.
Nick Murphy settled on the stage name Chet Faker as an homage to Chet Baker. Other influences he has cited include Bob Dylan, as well as his mother's Motown albums and his father's "chilled out Ibiza CDs".
He first rose to prominence after his cover of Blackstreet's "No Diggity" went viral online, reaching #1 on the Hypemachine chart in May 2011. He released his first EP Thinking In Textures in 2012 to positive reviews, being described as "wonderfully loungey" and praised for its ability to "mix subtlety with impressive beauty". The EP was also popular with fans, with single "I'm Into You" landing at number 24 on the 2012 Triple J Hottest 100 chart.
Faker has worked with several other artists since the release of his debut EP, including collaborations with Flume and remixes of songs by MS MR and The Temper Trap. He was a featured vocalist on Say Lou Lou's "Fool of Me", which was named Best New Track by Pitchfork in May 2013.
He released a new single featuring Kilo Kish on 12 August 2013. In September of 2013, Flume announced that he and Faker had recorded an EP, stating that the final result "doesn't sound particularly like Flume or specifically like, you know, a Chet Faker record it really is kinda like a hybrid of both sounds going to one" and he feels like everything they did with the EP "was collaborative about the whole effort, and I think that shines through." Faker's debut album, "Built on Glass", was released on 11 April 2014, which was preceded by the release of lead single "Talk Is Cheap" and its accompanying music video on February 11. Pretty Lights

Pretty Lights, real name Derek Vincent Smith, is an electronic music artist from Colorado. Since July 2010, Adam Deitch has assisted during live performances. The name comes from a Pink Floyd poster that read "Come and watch the pretty lights!" Smith's music is the byproduct of digital sampling and crosses many genres, forming a combination of "glitchy hip-hop beats, buzzing synth lines, and vintage funk and soul samples."
