Reportedly, he has said that the Human League's album 'Dare' inspired his sound the most, as evidenced by the video "Hey You What's That Sound," which looks amazingly like Madonna's "Hung Up." Hmm. Breakcore producer based in Sydney, Australia. Formerly part of the now-defunct System:Corrupt collective. His hardcore influenced breakcore is known for exceeding speeds of 250bpm, a breakcore record. His work samples extensively from pop songs, ska and other electroacoustic genres. However unlike other artists who employ the popmash, he combines songs at breakneck speeds and with little concern for royalties owed to the artists he samples from. Some of his tracks can employ as many as 90 copyright protected songs over a five minute period.

Austra is an electronic band from Toronto, ON, Canada comprising Katie Stelmanis (principal songwriter), Maya Postepski, and Dorian Wolf. They débuted with the single "The Beat And The Pulse" (November 2010, One Big Silence), and their latest release is the remix album "Sparkle" (July 2011, Domino) . Their début album album, "Feel It Break" (May 2011, Domino), came after a long sequence of bands for Stelmanis, representing a near ten year musical progression performing as an artist, then fleshed-out by a full band.

Australian Sam Sparro’s music is the sum of his church choir upbringing, his international cultivation and his penchant for back-alley warehouse parties and clubs. Sam's first album, self-titled, was released in April 2008, as was the single Black & Gold, which was critically acclaimed and performed well in the charts of many countries, reaching number 2 in the UK. As a child, Sam was a low-mileage triple-threat Christian school boy who acted in commercials and plays, sang in church, and danced just about anywhere there was open space.
