Emmanuel Jal
Emmanuel Jal (born c. 1980) is a Sudanese musician and former child soldier. Born in the village of Tonj in Southern Sudan, he was a little boy when the civil war broke out. Emmanuel’s father joined the Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) and when he was about seven years old his mother died. Emmanuel then decided to join the thousands of children travelling to Ethiopia who had been told that they could be educated there.

Herren releases his music under various aliases, most notably Prefuse 73, <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/+noredirect/Delarosa+and+Asora" class="bbcode_artist">Delarosa and Asora</a>, <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Piano+Overlord" class="bbcode_artist">Piano Overlord</a> and <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Ahmad+Szabo" class="bbcode_artist">Ahmad Szabo</a>. He also performs with Eva Puyuelo Muns in a duo known as <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Savath+&+Savalas" class="bbcode_artist">Savath & Savalas</a>. He began his career DJing at MJQ, a small night club in Atlanta, and then began working in commercial studios but soon branched out into his own music.

He has produced most of the tracks on every Mobb Deep album, and has produced songs for MCs such as Method Man, Nas, Onyx, The Notorious B.I.G., Jadakiss, The Game, LL Cool J, G-Unit, Lil' Kim, La The Darkman, and Jimmy Mserembo. 2) Havoc (Brazil)
