Stories

There have been at least two bands with the name 'Stories' (as opposed to 'The Stories'). 1) Stories was a short-lived art rock band based out of New York City in the early 1970s. The band consisted of keyboardist Michael Brown (ex-The Left Banke), bassist/vocalist Ian Lloyd, guitarist Steve Love, and drummer Bryan Madey, and had a fluke hit with a cover of Hot Chocolate's "Brother Louie" on their second album ABOUT US. Brown left the band by their third album. 2) Stories is a Metalcore band from Sydney, Australia. (http://www.myspace.com/storiesau)

In Hearts Wake

In Hearts Wake emerged from Byron Bay, New South Wales in early 2006 as a 5-piece metal fellowship (all born in 1990). Over their teenage years IHW have played with the likes of Parkway Drive, Miss May I (USA), Emmure (USA), Blessed By A Broken Heart (CAN), For Today (USA), Oh Sleeper (USA), The Wonder Years (USA), The Amity Affliction, Confession and Deez Nuts to name a few.

In 2010 In Hearts Wake entered the studio with Dan Brown (Confession, 50 Lions), to record their latest CD release, a 6-track â€˜Splitâ€™ effort with Sydneyâ€™s progressive metal outfit â€˜The Bride.â€™ With 3 releases under their belt, and a debut full length in the midst, IHW opted to release a cover of Chris Brownâ€™s club hit â€˜Yeah 3Xâ€™. IHWâ€™s aptly named â€˜YEAH 4Xâ€™ features clean vocals from their newly acquired bass player â€˜Kyle Erichâ€™ and guest vocals from fellow BBHC front man â€˜Oscar Mcallâ€™ (50 Lions). Between the Wars

There are currently two bands using the name "Between The Wars".
1. BETWEEN THE WARS (Melbourne, AUS) - Active 2009-present. Celtic folk punk band. Released album "Carried Away" in 2010, EP "The Rats" and single "The Aces Are Coming/I Forget What I'm Doing Here" in 2011. 2. BETWEEN THE WARS (New Jersey, USA) - Active: 2005-2007 (featured Ensign frontman Tim Shaw and former Thursday guitarist Bill Henderson. Released 1 EP and 1 album.

We Came As Romans

We Came As Romans, is a post-hardcore/metalcore band from Troy, Michigan. Driven by the passion to not go unnoticed they put all their effort and talent into their live shows and the release of Demonstrations. The Red Shore

The Red Shore is a deathcore/death metal outfit from Geelong, Victoria, Australia, drawing their influences from bands such as Hate Eternal, Devourment, Decapitated and Behemoth. Constant touring and a fierce live presence, teamed with the release of their 2008 album 'Unconsecrated', have established the band a strong following not only in their home state, but throughout Australia and also select international recognition.

Raised Fist

Raised Fist is a Swedish hardcore band formed in 1993, Luleå, Sweden. The name "Raised Fist" came as an idea from the Rage Against the Machine song "Know Your Enemy", where part of the lyrics are as follows: "Born with an insight and a raised fist..." With influences rooted firmly among bands as Gorilla Biscuits,Youth Of Today and Wide Awake the band started out as firm believers in the old school style.

Asleep In The Light

Asleep in the Light was formed in 2010 when members Nico (vocals) and Jolan (Guitar) had the idea to start a band. The music then started coming together as Monty (Bass) and Tim (Drums) were added to the band. Paul (Guitar) was the last member to complete the 5-piece band preparing the way for shows in 2011. Asleep in the Light will be planning on releasing their highly anticipated EP in 2011. Look out for a show near you soon and be sure to come say hi.

"Se bon ki ra", a Haitian proverb meaning Good is Rare, is a reflection of the current state of world affairs, human nature, governing bodies and the universe in general Presenting Australia’s next up and coming metal project featuring ex and current members from Sector III, Chakkra, Hammad, Fury, Obdurate Seduction and Truth Corroded. Since sebonkira's first show in November 07 they been busy on the local scene.
