Gold Coast, Australia: 2000-present Gold Coast rockers Mourning Tide began in 2000, as four friends with the same vision: to be the most entertaining and unique band in the emerging hardcore/metal scene. Touring hard and partying harder has earned them a strong local following on the East Coast. In 2003, Mourning Tide released their successful self-titled debut EP, through Modern Music/Sony/BMG.

As I Lay Dying is an American metalcore band from San Diego, California. Founded in 2000 by Tim Lambesis and having completed their first Line-up in 2001, the band consists of vocalist Tim Lambesis, drummer Jordan Mancino, lead guitarist Nick Hipa, rhythm guitarist Phil Sgrosso, and bassist Josh Gilbert, all of whom are Christians. Signed to Metal Blade Records, As I Lay Dying has released four studio albums, one split album, and one compilation album.

State Of East London are a 5 piece all round metal band from the outer suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, formed in 2007. They have released a 6 track EP "Animasitas", and have recorded a full length album to be released in the 2nd half of 2010. Announced on the bands myspace on March 31st, Marcel (vocals) has left the band citing differences in music taste and influence. Yet far from an extension of past efforts, the time dormant has let their resolve fester into an entirely more intense creature, still grounded in heavy hardcore, but earthier, dirtier and spitting discordance.
Misshapen riffs twist as if trying to escape before being shattered into an abrasive breakdown, or a moment of ambient clarity.
