The Ataris

The Ataris are a punk rock band from Anderson, Indiana formed in 1995. The band originally consisted of singer/songwriter/guitarist Kris Roe and guitarist Jasin Thomason. Using a 4-Track, they wrote and recorded demos in Kris's bedroom, with a drum machine as the drummer. At this point in time the band was searching for a full-time drummer. The first step in their road to success came when Kris attended a The Vandals concert at Bogart's in Cincinnati, where he passed one of the demo tapes to The Vandals' roadie Fitz.

Rufio

Rufio is a melodic punk rock band from Rancho Cucamonga, California. All the members of the band went to the same high school together. The band was formed when original bassist Jon Berry was in freshman year in college and the other three band members were in the final year of high school. The other three band members are Scott Sellers (Vocals/Guitar), Mike Jimenez (Drums), and Clark Domae (Guitar). Guitar players Scott and Clark were acquaintances at young ages as they grew up together.

The Flatliners

There is more than one artist named The Flatliners: (1) The Flatliners are a punk rock band from Richmond Hill and Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Since their formation in 2002, The Flatliners have loved bowmanville and been a growing influence in the Toronto punk/ska scene as well as other areas of the Greater Toronto Area. They are currently signed to Fat Wreck Chords and Stomp Records (Canada). As well, they won the inaugural, annual "Best Band Ever" award given by the Edmonton Vinyl Blog DigitalIsDead.

Anti-Flag

Anti-Flag is a punk rock band based in the United States, formed in 1988 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and known for its outspoken left-wing political views, focusing on anti-war activism, imperialism, class struggle, human rights, and other sociopolitical sentiments. Members include singer/guitarist Justin Sane, singer/bassist Chris Barker, guitarist Chris Head, and drummer Pat Thetic; Chris Barker ("Chris #2") replaced original bassist Andy Flag in 1999. The band is known also for their advocacy of progressive political action groups such as Greenpeace and Amnesty International.

(2) A Punk rock band based out of Los Angeles 1. An Australian Hip-Hop artist 2. The Briggs are a punk rock band based out of Los Angeles, California. Drawing influence from the likes of The Clash, Cock Sparrer, Stiff Little Fingers, and Billy Bragg, The Briggs have spent the past few years on the heels of tours that have paired them up with more recognizable faces in their genre, including several outings with Irish-punk band Flogging Molly.

Marathon

There are numerous bands past and present, with the name Marathon: Present: 1. Marathon are a band from Brisbane, Australia. They play a mixture of '90s influenced metal/hardcore, abrasive noise-rock (Albini, Denison, etc) and modern American and Canadian crust. 2. Marathon are an indie rock band from South East England. They released their debut single "300 Miles" in March 2010. Past: 1. Marathon was a melodic punk band from various parts of upstate New York, formed from the ashes of bands such as Standfast, De La Hoya, and Building On Fire.

Dropkick Murphys

Dropkick Murphys are a celtic punk band formed in Quincy, Massachusetts, United States in 1996. First playing together in the basement of a friend's barbershop, the band has made a name for itself for their relentless touring, as well as their annual St. Patrick's Day weekend shows in Boston. The subjects of their songs often deal with the working class environment in which they grew up. The band put out a series of EPs and were signed by Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong's label Hellcat Records. In 1998, they released their first full length album, Do or Die.
