The Currency

The Currency are born of a proud lineage of convicts, bushrangers, stowaways and scoundrels. Combining punk rock and roll with celtic folk, these lads and lasses take up where legendary bands like 'Weddings Parties Anything' and 'Midnight Oil' left off by reviving the colonial folk ballad tradition. It's a rollicking seven piece orchestra that combines folk instruments with a fire cracker punk rhythm section. Fiddle, accordion, tin whistle, mandolin, acoustic and electric guitar play a mix of of jigs and reels, waltzes, oz rock and punk that keeps the crowd dancing like crazy dingoes.

Against Me!

Against Me! is a punk rock band originally from Naples, Florida, and later relocated to Gainesville, Florida. They are known for their heavily folk-influenced sound and energetic live shows (Spin named them one of the 25 greatest live bands in 2006). Their first full-length album, released on No Idea Records in 2002, was the highly-acclaimed Reinventing Axl Rose. In December 2005, they signed to Sire Records, and released their major label debut, New Wave, on July 10, 2007.

Cobra Skulls are a punk rock band from Reno, Nevada who are signed to Fat Wreck Chords. History
Cobra Skulls were formed in 2005 by Devin Peralta (bass, vocals), Charlie Parker (guitar) and Chad Cleaveland (drums). They released an EP titled Draw Muhammad in 2006. The EP caught the attention of Red Scare Industries who signed the band and released their debut album "Sitting Army" in 2007. To promote the album the band went on tour with Against Me!, Mad Caddies, and The Loved Ones, opening shows for them.[1] During the 2007 tour the band added a second guitarist Adam Beck.

Defiance, Ohio

Defiance, Ohio is a punk band from Columbus, Ohio. They are known for their extensive touring and intense, enthusiastic live shows. They are named (tongue in cheek) after the real town Defiance, Ohio. The band has a unique line-up for a punk act, featuring violin, cello, banjo, acoustic and electric guitars, piano, and electric bass (formerly an upright bass). Since Defiance, Ohio formed in 2002 they have released four full length LPs, Share What Ya Got, The Great Depression, The Fear, the Fear, the Fear, Midwestern Minutes and several singles, B sides and split EPs.

Dropkick Murphys

Dropkick Murphys are a celtic punk band formed in Quincy, Massachusetts, United States in 1996. First playing together in the basement of a friend's barbershop, the band has made a name for itself for their relentless touring, as well as their annual St. Patrick's Day weekend shows in Boston. The subjects of their songs often deal with the working class environment in which they grew up. The band put out a series of EPs and were signed by Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong's label Hellcat Records. In 1998, they released their first full length album, Do or Die.

The Gaslight Anthem

The Gaslight Anthem is a punk rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States. Since forming in 2005, they have released three full-length albums and an EP. They were described by Kerrang! magazine as “the best new band you’ll hear in 2008.” The lineup consists of Brian Fallon (vocals and guitar), Alex Levine (bass), Benny Horowitz (drums), and Alex Rosamilia (guitar). The Gaslight Anthem’s music embraces many elements of blues, classic rock, and punk rock. The band has described their sound as “Bruce Springsteen singing for a Cure cover band, with a tinge more aggression.

The Popes

The Popes were originally assembled by Shane MacGowan (The Pogues) after he either quit (his version) or was booted (the band's version) from the Pogues. Although they began life as Shane's backing band, Shane's somewhat "erratic" behavior gave them the incentive and the room to branch out on their own a bit. They have released two studio cds, "Holloway Boulevard" and "Outlaw Heaven" both on Snapper records, and a live set coupled with the studio set, also on Snapper Records.

Fear Like Us

Spawning from the cesspools of Newcastle, Fear Like Us was originally formed as a two-piece back in 04. They recorded a demo back then, and soon Jamie Hay and Kim Wall were joined by Babs on bass. A demo came out in 05, a split with another Newcastle band Scarlet Fever. With both demos unavailable now, it's hard to get your hands on some of these old recordings. Towards the end of 2006, Joel joined the band on drums, which added a more fuller sound for an ever-increasing in popularity band.
