Art Vs Science
There is a reason why night clubs play the music they do: it's the right tempo for dancing, it's got hook lines you can sing along to, and a beat steady enough hypnotise. Art vs. Science not only makes the sort of music played in nightclubs; it is one of the few outfits in Australia which can actually play in night clubs - live. No laptops, no backing tracks, just drums, keyboards, synths and three sets of funky hands.
Diafrix
Diafrix is one of Australia's most explosive and eclectic live acts. Following on from their hugely successful EP in 2006, their debut album Concrete Jungle has taken Diafrix’s iconic concoction of African rhythms, dance hall, funk, Australia hip hop and reggae and developed it into a truly world-class product while still maintaining the same raw energy they’ve carried since they formed in 2001. This trademark style transcends any specific genre to create a totally unique, but entirely harmonious sound.
Chrome Hoof
Chrome Hoof are an experimental orchestra based in London, England. The group was formed in 2000 by Cathedral bassist Leo Smee and his brother Milo Smee. Initially performing as a duo, their music was mostly electronic. Since the start, however, the group have continuously recruited new members playing various instruments. As of 2007, the group have about ten members and instruments such as saxophone, trumpet, bassoon, violin, guitars, bass and drums.

Funky Meters
The Funky Meters are give or take the same group as "The Meters", an American funk band based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. They were active between the late 60s until their breakup in 1977. They reunited later on, and went through a few new members, which resulted in the name change to "The Funky Meters". They were never extremely popular, and didn't receive much airtime on the radio, but are considered one of the leading funk predecessors.
Black Coffee

Nkosinathi, otherwise known as Black Coffee, is popular for his smash hit remixes, most of which have dominated the airwaves in the past couple of years.
Fun Machine
Double the fun! 1.Fun Machine is a progressive rock band from New Jersey. They are on BNS Sessions. 2. Under the same moniker are a band of cheeksters from Australia who sweep lewd themes into tasteful funk-munched pop zest. More antics than yo' gran's garage.
Tahuna Breaks
Tahuna Breaks are an uplifting reggae / funk / soul band based in Auckland. They formed following inspiring jams that stretched from a garage in Onehunga to the remoteness of Piha on Auckland’s west coast. With influences varying from the likes of Marvin Gaye, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, James Brown, UB40 and New Zealand’s very own dub and reggae movement, Tahuna Breaks are a fine tune roots blend of funk and reggae with that distinctive New Zealand summery sound.
