Zoë Keating is a Canadian musician and composer. Classically trained from the age of eight, Keating studied music at Sarah Lawrence College in Westchester County, New York and the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in Italy. After graduation she moved to San Francisco and began working in computer software while moonlighting as a cellist with dance troupes, theatre companies, and rock bands. She combined the two, and developed her now signature style while improvising for late night crowds in her San Francisco warehouse space.

Anyone who has ever watched the birth of a genre before knows that it almost always grows from the youth; the fresh perspective. Well, I’d like to present a candidate for that new sound in the form of new-comer Harvard Bass. Clocking in at a measley 21 years of age, this San Diegoan seems to have stumbled, with his first original track, on a hell of jackin’ banger. If you have been through LA recently, you might recognize him as Sleazy V often seen amongst folk such as Paparazzi, Acid Girls, Johnny Love and so on.

Bonsai is a musical trio formed by Paulo Braga (piano), Mané Silveira (saxes and flutes) and Guello (percussion). Having 10 years in the musical road, the trio produces a scenographic and universal music, going from the waltz to “baião”, coupling marches and flowing into the “jongo” and jazz, in Brazil.
