The Sons of "Newboroughian Darkness" Kakorot and Boof came together in early 2007 to create Altars of Sin. Born out of their passion for Metal Altars of Sin has devoloped their own unique brand of Australian Metal.
Andy Bull is a 23 year old singer-songwriter hailing from Sydney, Australia who developed his love of music whilst growing up with his father who was a collector of keyboards on his travels, and had a keen interest in playing the piano. It wasn’t long until Andy himself developed this interest in the piano, and soon surpassed his father’s abilities. As a new artist on the music scene in Sydney, his unique and “retro” lyrical style caught the eye of producer Tony Buchen in 2004.

Fairfield, a street musician who plays banjo, fiddle, and guitar and sings traditional folk songs as you would imagine they were sung when they were first written, is only just getting used to the idea of playing music venues alongside rock musicians. He is also an avid collector of 78 rpm recordings of American folk and mountain music and is working on plans to build his own spring motor gramophones.
Folk Uke is Cathy Guthrie, daughter of Arlo Guthrie, and Amy Nelson, daughter of Willie Nelson. The duo has a unique folk-pop sound and catchy lyrics, creative lyrics, notably on their original song, "Shit Makes the Flowers Grow."

Recorded live over 5 days in the farmhouse where Asa grew up on the Sunshine Coast. Cartoon Physics started life as a project of Peter Ayscough and Sam Magriplis of Brisbane Australia. Pete and Sam have been collaborating since the mid 90's when they played together in Edie's Playpen - also from Brisbane. Following the inevitable split of Edies', Sam joined the moderately successful Mocking Room, while Pete regressed to his home studio to continue writing. Sam moved to Melbourne for a few years, eventually retuning to Brisbane in late 2007. In 2008 he and Pete began a new musical collaboration: Cartoon Physics.
