Anal Discharge is a grindcore influenced pop punk band formed on the Central Coast, NSW Australia in 2005. The lineup consisted of Matthew Vaughn, Nathan Martin, Jeffrey Brown, and Grant Hunter. The band released one EP, as well as a split double floppy-disk with Sydney's Kill A Celebrity. A number of live bootleg recordings are available online. Anal Discharge played their final show on April 23 2008.

Asking Alexandria is an English post-hardcore/metalcore band from York, North Yorkshire, formed in 2007. Founded when rhythm guitarist Ben Bruce contacted old friends after moving back to England from Dubai, the current line-up consists of Bruce, vocalist Danny Worsnop, lead guitarist Cameron Liddell, bass guitarist Sam Bettley and drummer James Cassells. Hatebreed are a metallic hardcore band from Bridgeport and New Haven, Connecticut. The band was founded in November 1994 by Jamey Jasta, Dave Russo, Larry Dwyer, and Chris Beattie. Hatebreed's sound can be classified as metallic hardcore, they are influenced by death and groove metal and their sound has heavily influenced many modern metalcore, hardcore and crossover bands. They began by recording a three song demo and selling it to locals.

Brazilian metal titans Max and Igor Cavalera have written and recorded new material together for the first time in twelve years, since their work in Sepultura. Formed in the summer of 2007, Cavalera Conspiracy, is their new project and features the Cavalera brothers from Brazil, bassist Joe Duplantier from France and guitarist Marc Rizzo from the United States. Cavalera Conspiracy's debut record, Inflikted, was released on March 25, 2008 by Roadrunner Records. Recording took place in July 2007 at Undercity Studios in Los Angeles, with Logan Mader (ex-Machine Head guitarist).
