Singer-songwriter Martha Wainwright is the daughter of Loudon Wainwright III and Kate McGarrigle, and the sister of Rufus Wainwright. She has frequently appeared on recordings by her family members, and has released several independent EPs. Her full length self-titled debut was released in 2005 by Drowned in Sound, followed in 2008 by I Know You're Married But I've Got Feelings Too.

Ted Egan is an Australian folk singer/songwriter who grew up and lived most of his life in the northern parts of Australia. His songs are many, and tell stories about people and times in Australian history, sometimes serious, sometimes quite funny. He is one of the most popular artists to come out of the "new weird america" movement, which includes performers such as Faun Fables, Viking Moses, Jack Rose, Jana Hunter, Arborea, The MV & EE Medicine Show, Currituck Co., Six Organs of Admittance, and The Royal We, among others. He also often joins the band known as Vetiver.
Defiance, Ohio is a punk band from Columbus, Ohio. They are known for their extensive touring and intense, enthusiastic live shows. They are named (tongue in cheek) after the real town Defiance, Ohio. The band has a unique line-up for a punk act, featuring violin, cello, banjo, acoustic and electric guitars, piano, and electric bass (formerly an upright bass). Since Defiance, Ohio formed in 2002 they have released four full length LPs, Share What Ya Got, The Great Depression, The Fear, the Fear, the Fear, Midwestern Minutes and several singles, B sides and split EPs.
Crooked Still is a self-styled alternative bluegrass band consisting of vocalist Aoife O'Donovan, cellist Tristan Clarridge, fiddler Brittany Haas, banjo player Dr. Gregory Liszt, and bassist Corey DiMario. They are known for their high energy, technical skill, unique instrumentation and innovative acoustic style. O'Donovan and DiMario met at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts in spring of 2001. Former cellist Rushad Eggleston, who was studying at Berklee College of Music, and Liszt, a graduate student at MIT, were playing music together around the same time.

Bob Dylan (born Robert Allen Zimmerman on May 24, 1941 in Duluth, Minnesota, United States) is an American musician, poet and artist whose position in popular culture is unique. Although his career began in 1959, much of Dylan's best known work is from the 1960s, when he became an informal documentarian and reluctant figurehead of American unrest. Some of his songs, such as "Blowin' In The Wind" and "The Times They Are A-Changin'", became anthems of the anti-war and civil rights movements.
