THRASH METAL with INTELLIGENCE Australia is known for many famous bands over the years, like that of AC/DC, INXS, but it still remains "The Undiscovered Country" of true and real Heavy Metal.

The band began in 1985 as a solo project for ex-TYRUS guitarist Peter Hobbs, with the help of ex-Nothing Sacred members Mark Woolley (guitar), Sham (drums) and Karl Lean (bass), who recorded a number of demos which attracted interest from overseas labels. Hobbs' debut album, Hobbs Angel Of Death, was released in 1988 through German record label Steamhammer Records, and achieved a great deal of success in Europe.
There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Exodus is one of the first thrash metal bands to come out of the bay area, formed in 1980 in San Francisco, California, by Kirk Hammett, Tom Hunting, Paul Baloff, Jeff Andrews, and Gary Holt. They were cited as major influence by pretty much every thrash band. Known for their aggressive brand of thrash, as opposed to the more melodic, NWOBHM rooted thrash sound of the likes of Metallica, and equally aggressive live shows.

Hobbs' Angel of Death are an Australian thrash metal band that began in the mid 1980s and continue to this day, together with Mortal Sin they are one of the earliest successful Australian thrash metal bands. Meltdown could refer to one of several bands:
1) Meltdown is a Hardcore/Thrash Metal band with members based in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. They have released two eps and a 7" with the most recent being "Demolition", released in the summer of 2007 on Malfunction records. The band often play shows with Shipwreck and other MVHC related bands.
2) Short-lived project of former/present members of Crainium, Crom-Tech, All Scars, Emergency, and Metamatics, circa 1996.
There are a number of artists by this name: 1. Numskull (Garrick Demond Husbands) born 31. January 1971 in Oakland, California. He is half of the Oakland duo The Luniz. At 18 years old he got his first big break in the industry, by appearing on Dru Down's Fools From the Streets LP. A video was shot for the anthem "Ice Cream Man", and the result was a major deal with Sony for Dru Down and a major deal with Virgin for the Luniz.

Damo - Bass Imminent Psychosis began as a 5-piece Thrash/Death metal band from Adelaide. The band played their first gig in February 2003, and has played consistantly around Adelaide ever since. With over 35 gigs under their belt, and supporting some of Australias best metal acts, including Psycroptic, Alarum, Terrorust, Captain Cleanoff, Switchblade, Double Dragon, and Pathogen. Imminent Psychosis have toured interstate and are planning another in the very near future (watch out fuckers...)
