Frente!

Frente! was an Australian alternative pop/rock group, formed in 1991. The lineup featured singer Angie Hart, founder and guitarist Simon Austin, bassist Tim O'Connor (later replaced by Bill McDonald), and drummer Mark Picton (later replaced by Alastair Barden). Frente! burst onto the Australian music charts with the singles "Ordinary Angels" and "Accidently Kelly Street" in 1992. Frente!'s debut album, Marvin the Album was also a success, going platinum in Australia.

After the Fall

There is more than one artist with this name: 1. After the Fall (NY) - Melodic Hardcore from Albany, NY since 2000. 2 full lengths recorded at Bill Stevenson’s studio THE BLASTING ROOM (descendents, rise against, less than jake) and also a few 7 inches and EP’s. After the Fall recently released FORT ORANGE on cd/lp and are currently on tour in support. COLLAR CITY is a new 3 song 7” released Jan 5 2010 on MIGHTIER THAN SWORD RECORDS.

Layla

Layla is a by-product of the seemingly endless talent flowing from the West Australian music scene. As a lyricist, poet and pen smith Layla does not ever mince words. Her effortless delivery and strong emphasis on subject matter have become a trademark of her sound. Layla is also the name of the Slovak rising pop singer and dancer. Her own name is Kristína Tranová. Layla is also the name of an all-female visual kei band founded by two of the members from the disbanded Necro Circus. They will release their first single called on 2007'12'01.

Georgia Fair

Jordan and Ben first became mates when their mutual passion, in exploring and writing new music, yearned to be shared. When not playing and writing, they were raiding their father’s album collections for inspiration and direction. With the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Crowded House and Simon and Garfunkel they were in good stead for the future. Seth Sentry

Seth Sentry (born 1984) is an MC from Melbourne, Victoria. Emerging from Melbourne’s live hip hop scene with the November release of his highly-anticipated debut EP, The Waiter Minute, Seth Sentry has a busy summer ahead, finalising his debut full-length (due for an early 2009 release) whist touring and promoting in support of the EP. Mia Dyson

As a little girl growing up in a sleepy surf town on Australia’s southern coast, Mia Dyson would sit in her father’s workshop and watch him build custom guitars by hand. He would play records by The Band and Bob Dylan and she would dream of playing lead guitar in arenas around the world. From an early age Mia was all too aware of the lack of female musicians she could look up to. “When people think of a musician or rockstar, they almost always think of someone male. If you want to be a serious musician/songwriter as a female, what is that? What does that look like?” says Dyson.

Sienna Skies

Hancock Basement

Hancock Basement are Nick Beresford-Wylie, Nick Craven and Tom Spira, a veritable melting pot of slick grooves, disco rhythms and garage rocking riffs. Formed 1989 by David Bridie and Helen Mountfort (members of Not Drowning Waving) Like their former band, My Friend The Chocolate Cake's music can be seen to straddle the worlds of ambient and world music, with an emphasis on piano and violin-led acoustic music. Influences range from the obvious (such as Penguin Cafe Orchestra and Celtic folk music), to the less obvious (such as John Cale and Talk Talk).
